He has written his Master Thesis about animal rights activism in Finland using Internet material of activists. He teaches new media design in Helsinki Polytechnic Stadia as a senior lecturer.

The User-System-Relations in Computer-Mediated Collaboration. This study tries to examine the relation between users and computer-mediated collaboration system. The structure of user-system-relation has a central role in successful multi-user computer-mediated collaboration. The study emphasizes the importance of trust between user and the system. The main focus is on the user cultures and on the user culture design. The research subject of this study is Finnish Wikipedia users (http://fi.wikipedia.org). The research material will be collected from the web site and by interviewing the active users of Finnish Wikipedia. The research is a qualitative case study. Key words of the study are user-system-relation, computer-mediated collaboration, user culture, user culture design, and trust.
